Hurricane Falls 2009

Hurricane Falls on Lake Glenville

in North Carolina.  One of three waterfalls

on the most beautiful lake I’ve ever seen.

Another view of Linville Falls

in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains.

It is a pretty steep hike to get up to this view

but as you can see, very worth it!

Field with Cloud

We have had a very unusual climate this summer.

It has been unseasonally cool for North Carolina,

but the skys have been beautiful.

This was probably the largest cloud I’ve ever seen,

and it was even more spectacular

with the sun setting against it.
